MADP8900 is a high-performance phosphorus-based flame retardant designed for PA6, PA66, and PA610 systems. It delivers efficient flame-retardant performance, excellent thermal stability, and good compatibility with PA matrices. With stable dispersion and processing reliability, MADP8900 helps compound manufacturers achieve consistent flame-retardant PA solutions for demanding applications.

MADP8900 is a 100% halogen-free flame retardant with chlorine and bromine contents below 900 ppm, complying with IEC 61249-2-21 requirements. With low heavy metal content (Pb <1 ppm, Cd <1 ppm), it meets major environmental standards including EU RoHS 2.0 and REACH SVHC, enabling safer and more sustainable flame-retardant PA solutions.
MADP8900 flame retardant achieves UL94 V-0 performance (1.6mm) with 15% addition in PA6 and 20% in PA66. Its phosphorus-nitrogen synergistic technology provides efficient flame protection with lower loading levels, and it also passes the UL94 750℃ glow wire test (GWIT).
MADP8900 flame retardant maintains excellent mechanical performance of PA materials with good dispersion and compatibility. PA6 with 15% MADP8900 retains >92% tensile strength (≈60 MPa) and >88% impact strength (≈5 kJ/m²), while PA66 with 18% maintains >90% flexural strength (≈95 MPa). It helps preserve PA toughness and structural reliability after flame-retardant modification.
MADP8900 flame retardant provides excellent processing stability for PA systems, with a decomposition temperature >320℃ and stable performance during PA6/PA66 processing at 260–290℃. Its optimized particle size (D50≈3–6 μm) enables uniform dispersion in PA melts, reducing agglomeration and ensuring consistent flame-retardant performance.
